Love this shirt!
Super comfortable, and the panels under the arms make it move well. (Though it's not GT, it's definitely suitable for light active use.)
Only downside is that the beautiful green is a little bit see through-- I have to wear a plain coloured rather than patterned bra underneath.

Great all rounder
I love the icebreaker crewe as it works both as a baselayer in cooler weather and when warmer I wear it alone. You can do that as it doesn't "look" like underwear. The fit is slim but not skin tight which I prefer. Sleeves just right but may be long for some. Material soft and so many colors to chose from.

I'm addicted to these tops!
Fit well and work to keep me warm and cool while racing sailboats. Sizing is snug so I ordered a size up and they do shrink a bit but upwards/not as long as originally made once hand washed. I get a ton of compliments and I look good while playing hard. Since I live in San Diego where the ocean racing weather is cool, I wear them almost year round.

Great shirt
I have the green and lighter blue, both great colors. They were a little itchy before washing not are so comfortable now. It kept me warm on my 50degree weather walk but not too warm when cleaning the house. I'm 5'6" 125lb and the small fits great. It is a great length as well. I would highly recommend this shirt!

No disappointment
Bought one about three years ago. It shrinks a little after a few washes but still fits me very well.
It's a great under layer for snow sport activities

Versatile top
This was my first icebreaker top and I was a little disappointed that I had to buy a x-lge instead of my usual size med or lge. The fabric quality is beautiful and the colors very fashionable which makes it good for hiking or dinner. The fit on this one is tight, but does loosen with a couple of wears. Goes back to orig fit when washed which it does beautifully. I plan to wear this kayaking because it dries so quickly. Everything they say about icebreaker clothing is true - keeps you warm, cool, fresh, dry. Sizing seems to be a little different with each style, but this is one company that knows how to make a woman's top that's flattering. I have 3 different styles in 3 different sizes, but they all look great!

Wonderfully warm!!!
I was especially unsure of the size when I ordered this shirt because it said it was close fitting. I usually wear a medium so that's what I ordered and I was so pleased with the fit when I tried it on! It fit perfectly!
And, I am a person who freezes all the time while others are fanning themselves!! This shirt keeps my own body heat in and makes me feel so good! I have muscle aches and pains from fibromyalgia but found that this has greatly reduced my pain when worn with the matching long pants!
Love, love, love them both and I plan to buy a few more. Although they are expensive, to me they are worth the price. And the free shipping helps, too. And they arrived when they said they would! Thank you, altrec.com!!

Exactly what I wanted
I am 5'3" tall, and weigh 108. I ordered a small, in a color called horizon. It fits very well; the color is beautiful and it arrived in a timely manner. Customer service was very helpful and courteous when helping me place the order. Excellent quality and purchase.

Fits like a dream
I'm 5'11" and I LOVE the fit on all the icebreakers items I have--this is no exception. The raglan style is awesome, because you don't get the bothersome side seam under your arms. I love to wear this running outside on chillier days, and skiing, with the higher neckline.

I am buying two more
The comfort and fit (true to size) of this Oasis Crew for women is a delight. I am wanting one in every color, as I wear them underneath my Iceberger T's for work. I highly recommend the soft and thin but warm fabric and the fit.

excellent baselayer
Have used this shirt nearly daily for 3 weeks for snowshoeing in upstate NY in 15 to 25 degree weather. There is no odor! Fits well and as described (5'3" 120 pounds and medium fits well but not skin tight or restrictive). Longer sleeve length good for keeping wrists covered in the cold.

Nice IB shirt
I ordered a med pink (I'm 5'10, 145#) and it is a great looking shirt with the perfect fit! I am hoping it will keep me very warm when layering with another heavier pullover/sweater. IB seems to make a very nice product and there is no itching whatsoever. I will definitely be looking in to buying more of their products. Fast shipping in time for Christmas, too. Thanks Altrec.

Quite sporty, not so cozy
This shirt is a nice, athletic-looking, close-fitting garment. I imagine it does keep you warm in the cool weather, but I didn't test it out. I didn't mind the snug fit, but it wouldn't lend itself very nicely (i don't think) to cozy-time wear.
Due to an unclear photo or my own lack of close observation, I was not anticipating there being light-purple stitching down the sides of the dark-purple shirt. The stitching accentuated an hourglass curve-- it doesn't just go straight down the sides, but dips in around the waistline and then arcs back out towards the hips. I thought it looked kind of cheesy for some reason, and I'd say it is the primary reason I returned the shirt-- just not wild about that color/stitch design it had going on. (I think that's what the description means when it says "forward side seams"; I just didn't think they would pOp out in the way that they did).
Other than that, it seemed well-made. The collar/neck line is high and close to the neck, as it states in the description. The dark purple color is becoming.

versatile tee
I have this one in both black (XS) and mandarin (S). I am 5'3 and 108 lbs. XS is a perfect fit for wearing under another piece. S is still slim due to the tailored waist but more relaxed on arms and chest so I can wear it as a Tee. The only downside is that lighter color one is a bit see-through, so I wear it with a vest, tank, or a jacket. The size S one has longer sleeves too, so I have to do something about it all the time. XS has perfect sleeve length for me.

Great top!
I have worn this casually, with jeans, and also dressed it up with a scarf (for times when I knew I'd be in cold settings on work trips). I ordered according to the size chart and that worked well. Fit is flattering. The red is a beautiful, vibrant color. It's comfortable, great for travel. Can't wait to wear it on a ski trip soon.

Great Crew
Purchased this to layer under IB Tech Top or IB Powder Hood. I'm 5'5" / 143lb and the medium is a good comfortable fit. Sleeves hit a bit longer than wrist and were not tight. Length is good coming down to hip. Room for a lighter base layer/thermal underneath, if needed. Easily layered under large Tech Top/Powder Hood. Looking forward to being toasty warm in Japan (down to -20C windchill at the top of the mountain) when layered up with my other gear.

No need to click on the sizing chart!!
Instead of clicking on the sizing chart and believing to the measurements, I would recommend playing a guess game of some kind. Based on the sizing measurements, specifically for the chest/bust area, I fell under the category of size "Small" and in order to be on the safe side regarding potential shrinkage I ordered the "M". Although I am about 34C, I found the Medium to be tight in the chest area. Arm length, waist lenght are decent. Color is cute. I am not sure going with Large would solve my problem as sleeves are already decent length with Medium. At this point, I am not too sure if I will be keeping it. One other thing, the crewneck is quite conservative as well.

This is my second icebreaker crew. I love the body fit, though it seems to size on the small end. Great under layer for activities., and also very comfortable around the house.

Holes, holes, holes...
Like most IB products I've owned, this one developed holes pretty quickly. Most are easily patched - just tiny holes that cropped up within a few wearings. But I also managed to tear a huge gash in one of the sleeves just by trying to pull it up! As I'm not the incredible hulk and the shirt wasn't even tight, I'll be returning it.
