Size Guide

Choosing the right size

Measurements refer to hand size, not garment dimensions. In instances when your hand measurements are midway between two sizes, go to the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit.

Length 17 18 19 20 21
Width 18.5 19.5 21 22.5 23.5
Length 6.5 7 7.5 8 8.5
Width 7.5 7.5 - 8 8 - 8.5 8.5 - 9 9 - 9.5

How to measure your hand

LENGTH: With your hand open, measure from the tip of your middle finger, down to the crease at the base of your palm.

WIDTH: With your hand open, measure around the circumference of your hand, above the base of the thumb.

Break the morning chill without overdressing These sleeves allow me to hike warm in the morning chill without having to make a full wardrobe change mid-morning. I hike in my t-shirt with these sleeves until the day warms up...then simply remove the sleeves and keep hiking. They also eliminate the need for an additional long sleeved shirt...saving pack weight. March 20, 2014
Perfect for cool-weather biking I'm an avid 3-season bike commuter in the midwest. I often find that while riding in the spring and the fall, I begin my commute feeling very cold, however, about 15 minutes into it, I am extremely warm. It's always a fine line between being too cold (underdressed with short sleeves) or too warm (overdressed with long sleeves) when I ride. These arm warmers give me the perfect option to start biking with long sleeves and then convert to short sleeves when I warm up. They fit snug and won't slide down my arms without being too tight. I feel that the GT260 material makes them a bit more wind resistant than a regular 260 product, which is great when biking into a cold headwind. March 26, 2013
Perfect for all sorts of weather... I have used the arm warmers for biking in anywhere from 20 to 50 degrees and they have been perfect. They are very well made and hold their shape very well. They are much more substantial than my previous pair of wool arm warmers from another company. March 19, 2013
Cherry on the Sundae My arm warmers are magical! You know when it's cool outside but you don't want to layer up because you know you will have to layer back down once you get going? HAVE NO FEAR! Icebreaker Arm Warmers are key to success* they provide the right amount of warmth to take the edge off and the perfect amount of breathability! I love them for running, xc skiing, and biking, etc. March 18, 2013
Great arm warmers I wear them when i'm running or cycling in cold conditions. They fit well and are very confortable and warm. March 18, 2013
Arm Warmers are now my favorite They work in all but the coldest temps and are not too warm to wear in the cool weather. March 18, 2013
Comfortable fit Great arm warmers. I use these cycling and I love how soft they feel on my arms. I am not a fan of synthetics so the soft feel of these is great. I am 6'2, 180 and wear size large. I have semi-large biceps and forearms and they fit nicely. November 27, 2012
The best arm warmers I've used I've tried a couple of different arm warmers but these have been the best. The are a bit loose at the top, even with the XS, but I'm pretty small so there's nothing I can do about it. Regardless, even if they are a bit loose, they don't slide down on their own. And they aren't too tight, either. Other arm warmers create an issue for my optical HR monitor but these don't and it works perfectly. I'm super glad I purchased these - they are my go-to pair. Very Nice Very nice pair of arm warmers and I've tried a bunch over the years. Followed the fit guide and have no complaints. December 16, 2013
Let down by a great product I received the Quantum Arm Warmers as a Christmas gift. I had never owned any arm warmers before and was excited to try them when the cycling season started. Although the Small is a tad loose at the top and tight at the wrist of my long, slender arms, I love them anyway: they look good, feel good and perform well, providing just the right amount of protection for early morning starts. I had worn them perhaps 10 times when they RIPPED as I was taking them off: admittedly, in a hurry so as not to fall behind my group; admittedly, over my cycling gloves so the a/w had to stretch. However, the kind of tear -- a 1-inch horizontal rip -- would seem to indicate a flaw in the material. Icebreaker charges a lot for a quality product. For the price, I would have expected more durability. July 1, 2013
Arm warmers Upper arm "elastic" is too wide diameter to hold in place. Cyclists have notoriously thin upper body, and upper arms. So, the arm warmer sags badly at the elbow after a couple of minutes. October 8, 2013
