Regret

"These shorts are made out of beautiful material, wonderful colour and overall a very flattering cut and shape: except the front pockets which need to be reviewed by your design team. They're not practical, very long and horizontally shallow, and the length makes it so that when you stride they gape open. The pocket bag color doesn't match and since it's like a really long western style pocket with a skimpy main fabric you can see the inside pocket color when you walk and the pockets flop around. The material is very stiff with little drape so the french style hem/placket is so stiff and gapes awfully when you walk, or even stand. Shockingly the waistband and front of the short is really big for the sizing making this pocket problem really unflattering. Nothing is going to stay in these pockets with such a big stiff floppy pocket opening. Mine is also miss-stitched on the right pocket. I have matching thread and I will just sew these shut after removing some of the bulk of the hem since I got them clearance from an affiliate that does not do clearance returns."

I love my shorts

"I had looked at these for quite awhile and read reviews. Many reviewers criticised them as being too baggy, having pockets that don't sit correctly etc… They suit me I would purchase in other colours"

Cut Needs Refinement

"These are a great color and quality fabric, with the right idea, but the cut needs work. They have a very high waist, which immediately balloons into large hips. They are comfortable but look clown-ish. They are a nod to vintage 50s/60s and also 90s style shorts, but I think the look is not achieved and will be flattering on few people. If I were icebreaker, I would tone down the flare by a lot and lower the waist a little. Keep the comfy wide legs and color. Consider a pleat. My partner remarked the back pockets don't match the style. I am a 28 and the 27 fit in the waist (not the hips) and my partner wears a 29 and the 28 fit (not in the hips though either)."

High quality shorts, not for hiking

"The fit is great once you try and find your correct size. It is a nice short to wear in the city and walk around. I find it too warm for hiking."

Sherry (4/5)

It's disappointing

"Bought a 31 to give myself some waist room but it was still feeling a bit tight. I have another pair of Icebreaker shorts that was a 30 which fits very nicely. This one however, the fit was all wrong. The pants were too deep and I had to fold the waistband over to make it comfortable enough to wear. It's quite roomy at the thighs. Little to no flex to the material. Loved the colour though."

Super weird fit

"Nice material. Weird ""poofy"" unflattering fit. Would not purchase again."

Really weird cut, maybe good for a skinny hip body

"Although they pull on and do up; the pockets sag out and the shorts look terrible."
