Reviews

Touch screen touchdown!

"This is the first glove I’ve owned where the touchscreen feature actually works! The gloves fit well, but probably won’t last more than a season or two."

UptownSunni (5/5)

Excellent materials that need a better stitching pattern.

"When it comes to fabrics feel, the gloves are excellent. Thoughtful application of rubber dots is not overdone and does not overburden, while serving its purpose. The only one aspect, albeit very important, that needs to be improved is the fingertips stitching pattern: they need to be rounded off better, instead of having a dead cornering space that creates a little empty bag that always gets in the way when you try to use your phone and you miss the buttons. Take example from the North Face line of touch gloves (though they are synthetic fabric, so maybe there's limitation with merino). Please keep pushing, Icebreaker!"

I love my new gloves.

"I love my new gloves. They are light, but still warm. Perfect for fall weather! I was replacing a very old, worn out pair. I didn’t know which ones to order so I went to your store for help. The staff recommended the 260s as the closest to my old ones. Delivery was free and they arrived in a couple of days after I ordered. I’m very happy with my purchase."

Love my new gloves!

"These gloves are thin and nimble allowing me to function with the camera on my phone easily. Super easy to text as well, all while keeping my hands warm."

Pamela O. (5/5)

Disappointed

"This is my first winter wearing them. I walk or hike four or five times a week. I love them. They are very comfortable, soft and warm. I use them as a liner or separately, they are thin. HOWEVER, unlike my other Icebreaker clothing, jackets, socks and hats, they lack quality. So disappointed!"

Gloves

"I submitted a review earlier before wearing… still agree it's great blue colour and warm but the screen touch isn't great. I end up taking off a glove anyway. Quite frustrating being the feature I was most excited about."

Esaurman (3/5)

Good glove

"Nice glove. Keeps you warm even if they get a bit wet. The seam around the fingers are a bit ""bulky"" - it would have been nice with a flat seam instead. The thumb and index finger have material which works on touch screens which is very nice. It would be nice if there was a small piece of maybe cotton on top which was more absorbant so you could dry sweat with - the wool doesn't absorb sweat very well."

ForrestGump (4/5)

Great gloves!

"I live in a cold climate, so gloves are vital in the winter! These work to around 15 degrees before I need a second layer over the top. I do wish they were longer wearing, I usually have to replace them every year."

Q&A

Besides $5, what is the difference between these and the "260 Tech Gloves"? You have so many liners, make a quick comparison chart for your customers.
Hi JC, thanks for reaching out and great suggestion for a comparison guide for gloves. The 260 Quantum gloves feature silicone palm grips vs the 260 tech gloves which is more of a true liner (no grip on the palms). The silicone grip is useful for things like driving, holding phones and other items or playing ball or racket sports when you want a more secure hold. The 260 tech gloves without the grip slide easier under heavier mittens and ski gloves. They are also great by themselves for hiking or running when you don't need to securely hold anything.
