Almost perfect

"I was super stoked to find a light summer top that is not polyester (not a typical sun hoodie), here are my thoughts after 3 months of testing. The good: it's super soft and so nice to touch (like almost sensual how soft the fabric is). Very light, adds practically no weight to the pack. It's not SPF certified, but I was up in the mountains in scorching sun and no sunburn (didn't apply any sunscreen). I also went through tick infested areas quite a bit and seems like the holes are too small for ticks (at least I didn't find any). The not so good: it's very see-through, I ended up buying a bralette from Icebreaker and it looks much better with the same color bralette. Runs pretty small and short, size up. Not very durable, it stretches on elbows after a couple days (returns to good shape after washing) and the fabric wears off where the backpack hits the waste - hate to say that a bit of nylon would make it more durable. And as other people mentioned - avoid velcro at all costs."

Branding takes up too much attention

"I really like this, but because it has branding stamped across the front, it makes it a pure athletic piece, when I'd love to use it as an everyday piece. If the branding was the same colour as the shirt (black shirt = black logo) rather than contrast, and on the bottom back hem, that would be ideal. I want to switch my Lululemon wardrobe to Icebreaker, but details like this make it challenging. I get you want branding, but people will ask for the brand of they see something they love (and an inconspicuous but recognizable logo is all that's needed, like Lulu). You don't need to turn us all into walking billboards."

Truly feather light!

"This top feels amazing to wear. The colour is gorgeous and the cut is figure flattering without feeling tight or restrictive at all, although the arms are a tad too long. Like a feather gently caressing your skin, it is soft, light and delicate, and looks great on its own, (although see-through), or as an underlayer. It is also very fragile and catches easily. Stay well clear of velcro! It will catch, hold and shred instantly. I had to gently coax a couple of pulled threads to the inside after the first time I wore it. I will see how this wears in the heat of summer, and how it lasts before buying any more products in this featherlight line. It was a luxury buy, and I do love it!"

I love how versatile this

"I love how versatile this top is. I brought this on a trip to northern Japan in the fall where it was primarily used for layering, either under a flannel shirt or under a thin-strapped dress to be kinda modest but sexy. I am petite with a short torso, so the length is perfect. I never overheated, it dried quickly, and it was durable enough for everyday use. I wish it didn't have ICEBREAKER printed across the chest but oh well. It's so soft and cozy but amazingly sheer."

"A great everywhere piece. Exercise, stretching, after exercise and living ! I'm 5'7 athletic build and found the Small a little narrow in the shoulders but nice and fitted in the body. The Medium is good in the shoulders and a normal fit in the body."
