"I really like this dress, even though I remain a little conflicted about the style of the “sleeveless” look (not a “tank” style sleeveless dress). On me, this cut is a little unflattering, so I probably wouldn’t wear this alone unless desperate. But the high neckline (not too high at all, IMO) and wide fabric at the shoulders makes it excellent for layering, both under and *over* other items. I am 5’4” and the length hits just above my knees. The fabric is medium-weight, which makes it functional year-round. Black is super practical, so I am pleased with the choice. I am considering another color!"

"You can wear this as is, wear something underneath it, or wear something over it. It has a nice heft and doesn't pill (at least after a few wears and a couple of washings). The neckline is a bit high (as shown in the picture) so anything on the face needs to come off before putting it on (save applying mineral sunblock until after the dress is on).
