What makes it an Anatomica?
Anatomica is a lightweight next-to-skin layer. It’s crafted from 150gm merino jersey corespun fabric that’s lighter than most other fabrics we use, and is made with a snug, slim fit that works perfectly as a cozy piece beneath your other layers. Our Anatomica tees fit tighter than other tees in our range and generally have a wider neck opening, just size up if you like a looser fit.

Taking over from Smartwool

"While Icebreaker and Smartwool have the same owner the former seems to be doing the right thing while the latter is going off the rails (so far as it relates to t-shirts). While I still prefer the old cut (longer leaner) of a medium Smartwool shirt they ruined it when they turned it into a misshapen boxy cut. So the next best thing is moving over to an icebreaker in a size large. Highly recommended if you had to abandon Smartwool."

Great shirts!

"Comfortable shirts with a great feel! I’m using the under body armor this winter and like them tremendously! They don’t get the same funk smell that synthetics get after a long day and they manage moisture well. I’ve also been using them as an undershirt for flannels and they both look and wear great!"

Nice material short torso

"The material is very soft and breathable but any lighter color would certainly be see through (thankfully I ordered black). I am 6'2 and avout 220lbs and got an XL (my normal size). This shirt definitely has an Athletic to Tight Fit which is fine. Unfortunately the Torso is way too short. It barely covers my belt line. This will have to be a true undershirt/base layer at best. I would not order again."

Another great shirt from Icebreaker!

"These work for casual fitness etc. I'm switching most of my shirts to wool blends and will be buying more colors from Icebreaker."

Good Base Layer

"For context: EMT South Texas outside all dayGood shirt for base layer. the weight is in-between the Patagonia cool daily merino and the Arcteryx ionia merino. only have two and have used them in 100F heat underneath a full poly polo. No problems and dries exceptionally fast. Have yet to use in bitter cold but i expect great things."
