Inconsistent manufacture

"Had this jacket in black which fitted nicely. A bit loose, but OK. Decided to try one in nightshade. The sleeves in the same size are ridiculously too short! Also the item arrived badly creased, not just normal slight straight creases from being in storage but very oddly shaped creases. Also it is baggier than the other jacket. Why are the sleeves so short though??? Come on, Icebreaker, don't skimp on sleeve length. Most of your stuff is a bit short in the sleeve but this particular jacket was like 13 y. o. child size sleeve length, if not shorter. And even in the sale the pricing is premium! Returning."

I have 2 but they could be improved

"I live and climb in rainy mountains. The fabric is neat and tight-woven; the color is deep. It weighs 6-8 ounces more than my nylon shells. It doesn't have a snap at the top of the zipper to keep stress off the zipper or from falling off a hanger or to keep it over the shoulders when wearing as a cape in the rain. There is no hook to hang it from, no waist cinch, no pit zips though it does have 2 small chest vents. The hood is sized to fit over a helmet, a rare use compared to all the skiing, climbing, hiking I do with just a hood up over my bare or hat-covered head. The hood cinch pulls the visor down into the eyes. A drawcord needs to be added over the top of head to bring the visor up. I bought size M which is perfect over an insulation layer but it's very baggy for warmer weather without waist cinch. With the bottom hem cinched wearing light layers, it fits like a barrel. I'd like to know this jacket isn't coated with PFAS or anything toxic."

3 seasons coat

"I am happy with this jacket; it's well made and lightweight, with sealed seams and the rain really does bead up and off the jacket. It's been a cold week and I found I needed my winter puffer some days; the other days I've been comfortable because the jacket covers the small of my back. Zippers and pockets are great, and the hood actually covers my head completely. Purple color is beautiful. I read the other review about sleeve length. I have petite length arms and the sleeves fall perfectly. I had a friend try on the jacket. She is tall and thin, and the arms are too short on her. Overall I am quite happy with this jacket and expect to wear it for years."

Manches beaucoup trop courtes!
