It’s crafted from 150gm merino jersey corespun fabric that’s lighter than most other fabrics we use, and is made with a snug, slim fit that works perfectly as a cosy piece beneath your other layers. Our Siren tees fit tighter than other tees in our range, just size up if you like a looser fit.

Lifesaver underlayer for business clothes

"Pink Quartz is close to my skin color and so I use it as an underlayer under business white dress shirts. The v-neck doesn't peak out and the short sleeves do not add bulk in the elbow area where some shirts and many blazer are too tight otherwise because they are not designed for you getting cold easily. Saved me from many after event colds and being miserably cold in business clothes in event spaces where the temperature is catering towards easily sweaty older men in business clothes with heavier fabrics than can be found for the women's version. (I wish there was a women's business suit out of thick warm wool fabric instead of flimsy cotton - icebreaker, any plans?) If it is warmer than expected, the shirt is not making me sweat and overheat easily."

Great top!

"I am 5’2” and 105 lbs. I ordered XS in black and am happy with the size and really like the look. It is fitted, but not too tight and the length is good for me. Can be dressed up or down. Easy to handwash. What I don’t like is the large and bulky tags on the inside. Very irritating for a fitted top. Icebreaker, please make tops without the large tags!"

Comfortable base layer

"This is my favorite base layer to wear for extra warmth in cold weather. It is color safe and my older version has held up for several years. Fits true to size. Great for travel because the Merino wool does not hold odors. Should dry overnight if you wash and squeeze the water out with a towel."
