Functional, form-fitting shorts for active performance on or off the trail, the Fastray II 8" High Rise Shorts feature a stretchy merino wool blend with an updated high waist for added coverage and comfort.
Good for:
97% merino wool, 3% elastane, exclusive of decoration and elastic
Machine wash with similar colors. Do not use softeners, do not use bleach. Dries fast in the shade, do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean. Exact instructions on the care label.

"These shorts are not very “compression-y” which has pros and cons. Pros: light compression means less restrictive fit & cooler in warm or hot conditions. Cons: if you want to be wrapped up tight & held in with stretchy cement, these won’t be the shorts for you. I wore them hiking for 4 days in Sedona, and they were perfect! Comfortable; not too hot; attractive enough to wear to dinner; non-smelly (as wool is). So glad I bought them!"

"Got these for a summer trip to Europe and they were great—fast drying, looked cute with everything from a cropped tee to a tight tank to a loose linen buttondown, and breathable in the crotch in warm climates. wore them hiking, walking city streets, and as loungewear and they held their shape. Super high waist hits just right and they're a flattering length for me at 5'8. Followed size chart and ordered a Small (typically xs in bottoms). I saw some comments that they're scratchy, which didn't bother me, but i noticed the fabric softened up after a wash too. Love the phone pocket!"

"I bought these shorts for sleeping in and so glad I did. I bought the small and sometimes I find with a high waist the elastic is snug … not this time. Just right! The fabric is decently thick so you could wear them to the gym. They hold there shape and super comfy for sleeping. Very happy with my purchase."

"I love these shorts. Quick dry, high waisted, pocket & very comfy. One pair got a hole in them from an aggressive hike I needed to spend a bit more time on my butt for, but still like them a lot just annoying because they're expensive. Have 3 pairs now because I'm trying to transition to more natural fibres. I find them true to size. I had a big booty, smaller waist & am 5'5"", about 145lbs. Medium fits well for me."

"These are my second pair, and for these ones, I sized up. The fit feels pretty similar in the medium compared to the small, but my thigh tattoos aren't showing through as much. I've had my other pair for a couple of years now and have had to stitch up one hole in the crotch, but otherwise wear them a lot."
