Never go without leggings

"The best for warmth in the winter on the slopes keeps the little ones warm and toasty"

"Good thickness. A bit too short for my kid who's not yet 9, I wish there was an in-between bc the 10 was too big"

— Oriah (5/5)

Nice thickness

"The material is soft and silky. The leggings are thin, but not see-through. The seams seem a bit scratchy, though."

— Spacey (4/5)

very good leggings!

"I'm 5'2 and followed all the other reviews and bought the kids size! I could have gone for a 12 so that it was a little shorter than the 14 but perfect for under my salopettes!"

— Phy (5/5)

This product has been an upgrade for my son!

"As a year-round backpacker and hiker trash, I'm always on the hunt for gear that can handle the demands of four-season trekking for myself and my kids. These Icebreaker Merino 260 Tech Thermal Leggings were a recent purchase for my 11-year-old son, who is an avid backpacker like me, and they've exceeded all expectations. The midweight merino wool is incredibly soft and non-itchy, making it comfortable for him to wear on long hikes. The natural breathability and moisture-wicking properties keep him dry and warm, even during high-output activities like steep climbs and regulation during breaks and camp setup. . On colder nights, the insulation is perfect for layering under his hiking pants or sleeping bag. Durability is always a concern with kids' gear, but these leggings are holding up exceptionally well. After multiple trips, including muddy trails and rocky scrambles, they've shown no signs of wear or pilling. The gusseted design allows for freedom of movement, which is key for active kids who are constantly on the go. What I also love about the Icebreaker 260 is the odor resistance—it's a lifesaver for multi-day trips where fresh clothes are limited. My son can wear these for several days without any complaints of discomfort or smell. Hiker trash or not, these never smell! Overall, these leggings are a must-have for young adventurers. They provide the performance, warmth, and durability needed for serious backpacking while still being kid-friendly. Highly recommended for parents who want to outfit their kids with reliable base layers for the trail!"

Very useful for colder days

"We are buying leggings every year for my daughter, they are wonderful, warm and light. We are wearing them whet skiing, under skiing pants, and they are perfect for every day in the school. Thank you for a great product for children! Natural, warm, light and it is not itchy."

— Ursule (5/5)

Perfect for my rough n tumble son

"Got these as a Xmas gift for my son, he basically lives in long John's all winter, so needed to buy him some that withstand his wear and tear. The construction is the same as the adult version ????"

— Jpal (5/5)

Great for Cross Country Skiing

"I am a petite 4'10"". Kids clothes can fit best. I will use these leggings as a first bottom layer when I go cross country skiing."

— Skier (5/5)

Slipping

"I have several other 260s and this is definitely the thinnest. Identical to 200s from five years ago. Quality has gone down hill."

— Race T. (3/5)

Good fit

"Just needs more colour options!"

— Yunsea (5/5)
