Good idea, poor execution
"A full merino shell jacket, no synthetics - fantastic. Features are nice; elastic adjustable waist, adjustable wrist cuffs, nice overhang hood, awesome vibrant blue colour. The fabric is thinner than I thought it would be at this price point as well, but being a shell, could still compensate with thicker mid layers. The cut is AWFUL. I wear a M in most things, but I take a L in icebreaker gear and it gives me a bit of wiggle room. Got this in a L and it fit like a size S in the shoulders with the rest of the jacket being normal. Very pear shaped - narrow up top, and VERY short sleeves, especially for a shell which is supposed to cover your other layers. No idea who thought this through, but they could have had a winner with this if they made it well."
