British autumn most used mid-layer
"when it seems too cool for just a thick baselayer, or you want more flexibility, this can be paired with a summer baselayer for a step up. Or with a warm base for some great warmth. I found the zip works perfectly and I appreciate the ability to open the garment at the bottom for ventilation whilst keeping the sensitive mid thorax covered. I Just wish more of my lightweight waterproofs also had this feature to match my midlayer! I would actually recommend the double zip on your other midlayers such as the quantum. I bought this one because of the nice light green colour. I recommend more light colours for visibility, which apart from the military is always a good thing, eg walking/running on the roads, walking in the mountains etc. As usual with icebreaker the construction and cloth quality is excellent. The sales make the deal viable in terms of value. I have seldom used the side pouches but I like them and they don't add much weight. The main pockets are a good size and quality. I tend to prefer chest pockets as I use a rucksack quite often. Overall very happy with my purchase and would buy again if needed."
