Not pure merino wool

"The marketing of the fabric content is deceitful. I usually purchase Oasis 200 leggings because they’re 100% merino wool. This pair however contains a polyester/spandex “middle layer”, so in actuality these are not 100% merino and more like 67% merino and 33% poly and spandex blend. They’re still being marketed as 100% merino though, which is deceptive and hoping people won’t notice if they just go by the “Oasis” name. It’s a shame because the shade is very pretty and I like the waistband, but they shouldn’t cost more than the original pure merino ones."

Java is plum: great leggings!

"I ordered the XS because I'm quite petite in the hips/bum and legs; however, my waist is larger than the recommended sizing, and it seems to be fine. I have a S in a different style and it looks oversized on me with weird creasing; so, I'm happy with the XS fit. Material is thin, but really comfortable; will have to see how it stands up long term. Java color is a beautiful, deep plum, I wouldn't really call it a brown. Gorgeous color!"

What color is "Java?"

"I was looking for a pair of brown wool leggings. I got these in the Java color even though the pictures made them look more red. After receiving them, they appear more of a purple wine color. Still a pretty color, but if the color name Java was confusing you too, you're not alone."

It mentions "Middle Layer: 73% Polyester, 27% Elastane;" yet it says 100% merino wool. What does this refer to?
Hi Monika, the middle layer is referring to the high rise waistband which has a layer of 73% Polyester, 27% Elastane in between two layers of 100% merino. The Polyester and Elastane help with both stretch and keeping the waistband in place while having the comfort of 100% merino fabric next to your skin. The aside from the waistband the rest of the garment is 100% merino wool.
