"I bought theses as a base layer for skiing and the mountain temps are often in the single digits with wind. They are a touch light when just standing outside or on the chair but perfect while skiing and moving. I think they will also be good for winter hikes or cold spring/fall days working on the water."

"Love the weight as I find it the most versatile but I wish there was the option for long inseam. Had to get a large to get the length and they are a tiny bit baggy in the thighs"

Good stuff

"Very comfy, to keep it real I appreciate the gusseted crotch and fly opening. Great fit and seems to function exactly as advertised. I wear them under board shorts while raft guiding and they help protect my skin very well. A bit warm for the summer heat but since I am able to hop in the river and cool off it's not an issue, they definitely help keep me cool when wet. I look forward to using them year round for winter activities as well. I just got them this spring so time will tell how they hold up. They do seem pretty thin but so far have withstood some pretty harsh treatment. They are noticeably heavier and thicker than the 175 weight I can really tell the difference. Overall I am very satisfied."
